A workshop for graduates of the Become an author course/workshop (but not only for them), where participants will be able to practice storytelling techniques with feedback right on the spot under supervision.
Information for Workshop participants:
The one-day workshop is focused exclusively on author exercises and tasks and their subsequent analysis in a group. For this reason, we limited the number of participants to five.
In the beginning, you will receive instructions on how to give feedback to other participants. You will learn what form of feedback is productive and what is counterproductive, and why.
The workshop will take half-hour intervals: thirty minutes of writing and thirty minutes of analysis.
Saturday:
What will you practice on this day?
We design creative tasks so participants can practice creating the essential elements of a literary work, from characters and story structures to a believable world. However, the workshop will also include exercises to eliminate potential authors‘ most significant stylistic mistakes.
You will also try creating dialogue at the workshop, practice visual storytelling, or write a short scene. Each participant will receive feedback from me as well as from the other members of the group. I offer graduates of the course/workshop and the workshop the possibility of individual guidance in creating a literary work—more in the Additional services section.
